🌊 Amaury Lavernhe: bodyboarding as a means of expression

Amaury Lavernhe is an ocean enthusiast who has taken French bodyboarding to the top of the world rankings. And today, we're proud to announce that he's renewing his commitment to us with a new collection of Fancards.

🥇 Two-time world champion, and as hungry as ever

Amaury Lavernhe discovered bodyboarding on Reunion Island at the age of 10. His impressive physical qualities soon attracted attention. He went on to win a string of French championship titles, before moving onto the international scene, taking part in major circuits such as the European Tour of Bodyboard, the European Championships and then the professional World Championships (IBA then APB).

Thanks to his powerful, aerial style, he made history in 2010 by becoming the first European to win at Pipeline, a legendary wave, and that same year took the World Championship title.He conquered the bodyboarding world by winning two IBA World Championship titles (2010 and 2014).

On powerful, often dangerous waves, he has established himself as a benchmark in the sport.
