In recent years, there has been a paradigm shift in how younger generations want to follow sports. They no longer want to just watch the matches passively, but participate actively.
That's why we created Genezys, a new multi-sport social platform, which offers a more engaging and fun experience for fans, allowing athletes to share their passion and create a deeper connection with their fans.
We support and fund a wide variety of sports and athletes, helping talent throughout their careers.

October 2022
Creation of Genezys
Genezys was founded in 2023 within a startup incubator in Grenoble. Driven by a team of tech entrepreneurs and sports industry experts, the project kicked off with an initial fundraising round of €500,000.
October 2023
Platform Launch
In October 2023, Genezys launched with fifteen pioneering athletes, a set of simple core features, and a bold promise: to reinvent the connection between fans and athletes.
November 2024
Reaches 10K users
One year after its launch, Genezys reaches a symbolic milestone.
December 2024
AMF certification
On December 21, 2024, Genezys is officially registered as a PSAN with the AMF (n°E2023-107).
This recognition allows the platform to securely manage the custody and exchange of GNZ tokens—seamlessly integrated into the fan experience.
March 2025
Fundraising
A new €1 million fundraising round empowers Genezys to accelerate product development, onboard top athletic talent, and scale its marketing efforts.
September 2025
A New Chapter Begins
Genezys steps into a new dimension with the launch of its multi-sport trading card game.
Fans can now compete with their Fancards, build custom teams, earn points, and experience sports in a whole new way.

The Founders
An entrepreneur from Grenoble who made his way to Silicon Valley, Alban already has several startups under his belt. As the head of Genezys, he leads the overall vision of the project and oversees strategic fundraising.
Another founding member of the adventure, Thomas is now the CEO of Genezys. With one foot still firmly in the world of sports, he oversees daily operations.
A longtime partner of Alban and Thomas, James is the tech lead at Genezys. As a member of the Moonshot Labs incubator and a former high-level athlete, he combines technical expertise with a deep sports culture.

Genezys is a trading card game that connects sports fans with their favorite athletes through Fancards. By collecting them, you’ll be able to: play the first multisport trading card game, win unique experiences and items, and access exclusive content.
A Fancard is a digital card representing an athlete.
Each Fancard features 4 unique attributes (such as agility, stamina, power, etc.) and a rarity level.
Beyond the game, a Fancard gives you access to the athlete’s Fan Club, allows you to support them, take part in their Challenges (featuring exclusive experiences and rewards), and watch their exclusive content.

But that’s not all — beyond its unique and strategic gameplay, Genezys Fantasy rewards the best players. Every month, prizes are awarded to the top-ranked players.
Ready to enter the arena?
A Challenge is created by an athlete, a club, or by the Genezys platform. Each Challenge is always linked to a specific FanCard collection.
To participate in a Challenge, you must meet the entry requirements. There are three possible types of conditions:
• Rarity: You must own a card from the collection with the required rarity level.
• Acquisition Date: You must have acquired the FanCard(s) before, after, or between specific dates.
• First-Time Buyer: You must be among the first X users to purchase a card from the collection.
A Challenge can have any combination of these conditions—or none at all. All conditions are detailed on the back of the Challenge card.

Each Challenge has a limited duration. You must click “Participate” before the deadline (indicated on the Challenge card), otherwise you’ll miss the opportunity and have to wait for the next one.
To increase your chances of getting a rare Fancard, buy one or more Boost Packs. Purchasing a Boost Pack gives you a +50% rarity bonus. Otherwise, if you're looking for a specific Fancard, why not check the Market? If it's available, you can buy it directly.
The GNZ is the in-game currency of Genezys. It allows players to earn rewards based on their ranking and activity. GNZ is also used as a bargaining chip in the transfer market and the Genezys store. GNZ will soon be exchangeable for € (COMING SOON).
Genezys Fantasy is multisport, meaning you can collect and play with athletes from different disciplines. The game is constantly evolving with new categories and new athletes!
Each week, you select 5 athlete Fancards. Their score is calculated based on:
- Their sporting attributes (shown on the Fancards)
- The rarity and combinations of the cards you use
- Their popularity and activity outside of Genezys
- Their engagement on Genezys (challenges, new collections, exclusive content)
Your objective? Find the best combination to score as many points as possible before the end of the week!
Every day, you can compete against other players in strategic duels. Your match score is based on the strength of your deck (card characteristics and rarity). A win probability is calculated based on your score versus your opponent’s, and a draw then determines the winner. Win matches to earn more points and climb the rankings!
To access the exclusive content of an athlete or club, simply visit their profile and purchase at least one of their Fancards from any of their collections. You'll then gain access to all past and future content from that athlete or club.
